Another beautiful night on the Great Northwest!We have had such a great summer!! Our summer adventure started when we moved into a different house June 1st! We moved about 5 miles from our old house to Edmonds, WA. We have a beautiful view of the Puget Sound! We get to watch the Ferry's, Cruise ships, submarines, beautiful sunsets.....all from our deck or pool! The kids have loved the pool, and so have I (it is a great babysitter!!). Mike had the month of July off of work, so we got to enjoy the pool and boat alot over the past month!! We have had alot of great swim nights with friends!!
Our one vacation away from home (it is hard to leave this place!), we took a friends RV and went to Southeast Idaho to visit my family, and I had my 20 year class reunion!! I had sooo much fun seeing my high school classmates! The RV was a great way to travel, the kids absolutely loved it. It was so funny seeing Mike driving that big RV!! His dad bought him a captains hat to wear in the drivers seat, it was funny.
Now our summer has ended, Mike went back to work on Monday (UGH....single parenthood here I come!), and the boys started football practice. Now we are practicing baseball and football at the same time!! Poor Addison spends most of her day in the car and at some kind of practice!! She is the boys biggest fan! I am looking forward to football season, but it is a hard adjustment on everyone when Mike goes back to work. We miss him!!
